About This Quote

When a person says that to a born-again atheist like myself, it is clear that each of us has multiple selves, talents, perceptions. But to the Roman Catholic, unity is all, they are saying that there is unity in the spiritual world and unity in the physical world. But to a born again atheist like myself, unity is all. Our real selves are our spiritual selves.

As for our physical selves, we actually have only one self. When you take away your physical body and leave your soul behind, you are left with only one self. Now, I’m not saying that people who believe in the unity of God are wrong.

It just doesn’t work for me.
